President Bio has met with the president of South Sudan Salva Kiir Mayardi on the sidelines of the joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The two presidents exchanged developmental ideologies and how they can strengthen bilateral ties that may seek to improve the lives of the citizens of their countries.
“Today, I met with His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardi of South Sudan on the sidelines of the @OIC_OCI’s Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit in #Riyadh, #SaudiArabia.
We exchanged ideas on strategies for advancing both bilateral and diplomatic relations between our two countries.
I shared our experience in promoting and sustaining peace in post-conflict Sierra Leone to help promote enduring peace in South Sudan.
#SouthSudan and #SierraLeone enjoy a relationship built on a mutually beneficial partnership and we both pledged our commitment towards scaling up the partnership,” President Bio maintained.
