Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has received the Special Envoy of President Yoon Suk Yeol of the Republic of South Korea to Sierra Leone.

The Special Envoy that was headed by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Chung Hwang-keun, conveyed President Yoon Suk Yeol’s message of solidarity and support towards the Government’s FEED SALONE Programme and how their input can be felt by the country.

It is noted that, Sierra Leone and South Korea have enjoyed enduring bilateral and diplomatic relations that dates back over 60 years, and President Bio is committed to advancing the shared partnership for the growth and development of both countries.

This is also considered as a push in development and enhancing the success of the Feed Salone Programme to making sure that it achieves its goal. The president has been very focused on the project as his second term priority and to achieve it has been his central plan of all developmental activities in the country.
