President Julius Maada Bio has expressed his contentment with the ongoing voting process as he cast his vote at Hockey Field in Wilberforce, Freetown.

Speaking to the press after exercising his democratic right, President Bio conveyed his satisfaction, stating, “So far I’m satisfied with the process. I have checked with other districts, towns, and centers, and I am happy with the process.”

Acknowledging the concerns raised by voters, President Bio assured them that every process can experience minor setbacks and encouraged patience.

He emphasized the importance of citizens participating in the electoral process, emphasizing that it shapes the future of Sierra Leone, the well-being of its people, and the prospects for their children.

Despite these minor glitches, President Bio expressed confidence and revealed that he has no significant concerns regarding the overall voting procedure.

“Go out and vote! It is your constitutional right. Today, you’re choosing your Mayor, Members of Parliament, Councillors, and President. So go out and vote peacefully,” President Bio concluded, urging all eligible voters to exercise their democratic rights.
