Sierra Leone president Julius Maada Bio has welcomed his Namibian counterpart President Hage Geingob to Sierra Leone.

President Bio wrote on his Twitter account that he welcomed his brother HE Hage Geingob of Namibia to the Land that we love, SierraLeone”.

President Bio adds that he looks forward to discussing ways of advancing mutually beneficial partnerships between the two countries and also exchanging ideas on efforts to promote Africa’s standing globally.

President Hage Geingob arrives in Freetown, Sierra Leone en route to the US to attend the US-African Leadership Summit.

The Head of State makes the stopover in Freetown at the invitation of his Sierra Leone counterpart, Julius Maada Bio.
