Popular Sierra Leonean Rapper, Alhaji Amadu Bah popularly known as Boss La is at risk of 15 years imprisonment after being found guilty of robbery and assault contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.

In his Judgment on Monday, Justice Fisher has just found Boss La, also known as LAJ guilty on all four Counts brought against him.

However, sentencing has been postponed to Friday.

“I have not decided on your sentence yet, you could face up to 15 years imprisonment, it can be reduced or even increased but it depends on what you say in your plea mitigation on Friday”, Justice Fisher said.

LAJ was arraigned on a four Counts indictment, amended on October, 2022 as repealed and replaced by Section 2 of the Imperial Statutes, No. 16 of 1971.

It was alleged that in August 2022, Boss LA broke out a fight at the Leonco Fueling station at Congo Cross where he beat up the pump attendant and go away with her sales.

Boss LA has spent over nine months at the Male Correctional Center where he was battling with his health and surgery was recently conducted on him.

State Counsel, Yusif I. Sesay has informed that the Judgement delivered by Justice Adrian Fisher in the case: State V. Alhaji Amadu Bah, popularly known as LAJ brings Hope to every S/Leonean who feels his/her right has been trampled upon.

“Your Judgement has added value to the Criminal Jurisprudence of this Country,” Y.I.Sesay Esq. told the Court after the delivery of Judgment.
