The Vice Presidential candidate of the main opposition, All Peoples Congress (APC), Chernoh Ramadan Maju Bah has called on the Chairman of the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL), Mohamed K. Konneh to express a high level of transparency in the counting process of results from different polling centres.

He said that for a best practice the tallying of the results should be projected at the various tallying centres for everyone to see.

“M.K Konneh, bet practice dictates that for transparency, all tallying should be projected at the various tallying centres. What’s there to hide? He mentioned in a social media post, where he tagged many election management bodies and observers including, European Union, United Kingdom, Ireland Embassy, ECOWAS-CEEAO,US Embassy, EUEOM And The Commonwealth.

Meanwhile, ECSL has announced this morning that tallying of results has commenced in all of their regional headquarters in the country.
