In the aftermath of Sunday’s harrowing attack in Freetown, Chief of Defense Staff, Lt-General PK Lavahun, has refuted claims linking the attempted coup to former President Koroma. Lt-General Lavahun addressed concerns regarding the incident, asserting that there is no direct association between the attempted coup and the former President.
Furthermore, confirming the breach into the armory, Lt-General Lavahun revealed that the unit commander at Wilberforce Barrack has been apprehended for interrogation in connection with the security breach.
