The CEO of Born to Blog, Sahr Memphis has announced his decision to reunite with Sierra Leone’s People Party following his deflection from the party last year. 

According to Memphis, he justified his departure from the party because he felt betrayed despite his love and support for President Julius Maada Bio over the years.

He announced his decision to rejoin the SLPP on his social media page today, 28th February 2023.

Below is the Narration of Sahr Memphis as regards SLPP

Amb Sahr Memphis: “Many people recall that I had to relinquish my membership from the SLPP a few months ago due to an altercation with a fellow party member who also happens to be a government official. This also resulted in my incorrect detection at the CID for nearly three days.

It came at a time when I had always been a staunch supporter of President Bio, even before he took office. And I will continue to support him as I have in the past.

“Family tick dae bend, but inh nor dae break”, as the proverbial saying goes. In light of this unprecedented event, Honorable Alusine Kanneh has been in constant communication with me, pleading with me to reconsider my decision to reinstate my membership. As a Godfather and a man who believes in the peace, tranquillity, and prosperity of this country and the SLPP party, I cannot contradict his assurances to me.

However, I want to take advantage of this opportunity to restore my membership with the SLPP with immediate effect.

I hope the party reclaims power in the upcoming 2023 election. “One people, One county”. “One Maada Bio, One State House,” as we usually say.”
