Western Area Rural District Council (WARDC) Chairman, Kasho Holland Cole has on Thursday 2nd March 2023 bid farewell to his people and officially handed  over office at the Waterloo Council hall.

While addressing all present, the WARDC chairman expressed delight and gratitude to all who have supported him during his tenure of office and highlighted some of the achievements made by the council during his leadership.

He called on the people of WARDC to continue supporting the council by paying their taxes adding that the council is still in operation.

Cole further called on the Chief Administrator to continue the good work of the council and build on the progress.

In his response, Chief Administrator Taman Tom Farma thanked the chairman for his excellent work.

He stated that working with him has strengthened him more as an administrator, and promised to continue working in the interest of the people till a political leadership is elected.

The chairman received praise from representatives of Civil Society, Village heads, and development partners.

The handing-over ceremony climaxed with certifying the chairman and councilors for their outstanding contribution to the council.
