In a recent Ministry of Information weekly press briefing, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s ambitious vision to establish nationwide 100% 3G coverage in the country.

Emphasizing this strategic goal, the Chief Minister highlighted that ensuring ubiquitous 3G access across all regions is a pivotal aspect of the government’s vision. He stressed that 3G should serve as the baseline network standard available throughout the entire nation.

The Chief Minister illustrated the objective by stating that even if individuals have access to higher network generations like 5G in urban areas, the least available network when they visit any village should be 3G. This commitment aligns with the government’s efforts to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to connectivity for all citizens, regardless of their location within the country.

This vision underscores the government’s determination to enhance telecommunications infrastructure, fostering inclusive digital access and empowering communities across the nation.
