A group of Civil Society Organisations called the Civil Society Electoral Inclusion Committee has called on authorities to fix the issue of political intolerance before 24 June elections.
The Group called authorities in a meeting at Bintumani Hotel to review, adopt and discuss matters that arise from a previous meeting.
Findings from the previous meeting surfaced that there is political intolerance and electoral injustice ahead of the polls.
Among the burning issues is the 11.9 percent threshold posited by the PR system for parliamentary representation. They asked that they reduce it to 7 percent.
The Group also urged that women representation takes centre stage by ensuring that 30 percent are placed in elected position before the elections.
The CSOs also prodded authorities to engage in massive public education on the electoral process which they believe could increase the knowledge of citizens ahead of the polls.
Sierra Leone will hold a multi-tier election in June this year.
The West African nation made a slight change in the election of their parliamentary representatives switching to a Proportional Representation (PR) system -a process last used in the 2002 elections.
