The Thunder Hill community is coming together in support of Alusine Kamara, popularly known as Draze Blackboy, who is currently battling a serious spinal condition that requires urgent surgical intervention.

Alusine, a well-known and respected member of the community, has been diagnosed with a spine complication that poses a significant threat to his health and wellbeing. According to family sources, the required surgery will cost $7,000 — an amount that remains out of reach for him and his loved ones.

Known for his selflessness and dedication to helping others in times of need, Alusine has always stood as a pillar of support within his circles. Now, his community is being urged to return that compassion and rally around him in this moment of crisis.

“We are calling on the government, non-governmental organizations, charitable bodies, and individuals—especially his friends and family—to help raise the funds needed for Alusine’s surgery,” a spokesperson for the family said.

The urgency of Alusine’s condition means that any delays in securing the necessary funds could result in further health complications. “Every contribution counts. No amount is too small to help restore Alusine’s health and give him a chance at a pain-free life,” the spokesperson added.

Those willing to contribute are encouraged to contact the family  on 078753553 or 078805292

As the campaign gains traction, organizers are hoping that the collective goodwill of the public will shine through to help Alusine access the treatment he desperately needs.
