The High Court of Sierra Leone Criminal Session has officially commenced it’s first sitting in Musaia Chiefdom, Falaba District on Monday 27th February 2023.

The criminal session of the High Court is fully funded by the Judiciary of Sierra Leone, courtesy of the government of Sierra Leone.

It is geared towards accessing justice and improving overcrowding in Correctional Centres.
It is held in places where there are no sitting judges.

In a public announcement, dated 21st February 2023, the Judiciary of Sierra Leone, promised the people of Falaba District access to justice for every citizen regardless of social status or regional background.

The Notice informed all Litigants and Witnesses who have cases before the High Court in the District to make themselves available on Monday the 27th of February 2023 at 9:am prompt.

The Judiciary further assured Falaba District of access to justice and expedition trials would be enhanced; it, therefore encouraged all litigans to give their full support in being on time.
