The Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, David Moinina Sengeh has released the statistics for 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.
The results were distributed to Heads of Schools in December 2021 in hardcopies and later released online by the West African Examination Councils (WAEC).
However, David Sengeh analyzed the results showing the percentage credit passes (A1-C6) in English Language, Mathematics and other subjects.
The analysis shows that 19.17% passed English Language and 38.67% passed Mathematics. Subjects over 50% students obtaining A1-C6: Cost Accounting, Health Science, Science (core), Economics, Government, History, Agricultural Science, and Metal Work.
