Amidst speculations of a protest that disrupted daily activities in the capital and certain parts of the country on Monday, September 11th, Dr. Dennis Sandy, the Minister of Works and Public Asset, was observed commuting to work on a bicycle.

The minister was observed energetically cycling to work on an almost deserted street, with only a few vehicles passing by.

The anticipated protest on that Monday resulted in the closure of shops, with parents showing reluctance to send their children to school.

However, the planned protest did not garner significant participation, as only a limited number of individuals in certain areas took to the streets. Most citizens opted to remain at home, avoiding public spaces, workplaces, and schools, citing concerns about escalating tensions.
