The Director of Youths and Employment, Presidential Delivery Unit, Maada Kabajan Kemokai has been sent by President Bio on a three-day working visit to the Ghana Youth Employment Agency in Accra, Ghana.

He has been working tirelessly to ensure the delivery of one of President Bio’s key “big 5” agenda, which is the employment of youths. He has been in constant discussions with the President and Chief Minister to develop strategies and methods that will ensure the President’s promise of providing 500,000 jobs for the Sierra Leonean youth is achievable.

This visit is aimed at understudying the Youth and Employment Agency modules that have created jobs for millions of youth in Ghana and the visit is a strategic move endorsed by the President and Chief Minister, demonstrating their commitment to learning from successful models in other countries and implementing similar strategies in Sierra Leone.

The President through the Chief Minister saw it fit that I travel to Ghana for such studies which in turn we can do the same in Sierra Leone.” He maintained.

This signifies transparency and a commitment to keeping the citizens informed about significant developments in the country’s efforts to address youth unemployment.

This is viewed as a proactive approach and willingness to learn from successful models in other countries demonstrate a forward-thinking strategy aimed at fulfilling the president’s promise of creating 500,000 jobs for Sierra Leonean youth.
