The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) has confirmed that the Sierra Leone Police have returned the personal belongings of Dutch journalist Sophie through her lawyers, Edrina Chambers, in the presence of the Minister of Information and Civic Education.
However, police are withholding Sophie’s SD card, citing “security reasons.”
The Minister of Information and Civic Education reiterated that Sophie is welcome to return to Sierra Leone at any time. The Minister also stated that the police were simply fulfilling their duties.
When SLAJ inquired about the questioning of Sophie, ACP Allieu Jalloh, head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), stated that the police found “a lot of inconsistencies and deception” in her statement.
He added, however, that her release was a government decision.

They held a DUTCH journalist who came into the country because the drug dealing Maada Bio is harboring a DUTCH fugutive drug dealer and they don’t think this is too obvious They thought they could initimidate her. Salone Police, specifically the CID, we already know your mode of operation, and your strategy. The big bullies you are, using vague terms like “inconsistencies and deception.” Withholding SD card for “security reasons?” Who are you trying to protect or cover up? But we await the eventual version of the foreign journalist.
This is a simple trap, the world leaders want to know more about the accusation

Don’t mind them, they’re selfish people
This is because the majority of them are beneficiaries of international donors’ funds. They are conniving with International partners to exploit our country’s raw materials and natural resources. But our Creator, through the blessings of our departed Ancestors, will soon call them for questioning.
