The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) has today, Wednesday 14 September issued a public notice, informing the public that the first phase of voter registration, which started on 3rd September 2022 will end on Saturday, 17th September 2022.

The Commission further encouraged all eligible citizens who intend to register in the first phase of the registration at the 1,815 voter registration centers across the country to present themselves for registration at these centers on or before Saturday 17th September 2022.

The Commission also reminded the public that the second phase of voter registration for the remaining 1,815 voter registration centers will start on Tuesday 20th September 2022 and will end on Tuesday 4th October 2022.

The Commission went on to reveal that they will be hosting a Press Conference on the on-going voter registration exercise on Monday 19th September 2022 at its headquarters to provide updates on the first phase of voter registration.

The Commission concluded by assuring the public of its commitment to conduct a comprehensive, credible, and inclusive voter registration process.
