The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) has released time for the conduct of the June 2023 multi-tier elections.

According to ECSL, the first three months are set aside for the printing, parking, sorting, delivery and distribution of voter ID cards, training of polling Staff and delivery of election materials from district to constituency storage facilities.

From the next month which is from 4 April to the 11 May, is for nomination processes; nomination of candidates for President and OMP and for Local Council Elections, objections and final decisions.

Campaign starts on 22 May and end 22 June. The remaining days before June 24th polling day is during that period that the training of polling staff and deployment of the election materials will take place.
