The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have successfully completed the verification process for polling staff who reported on 1st September 2023.
This verification process covered a substantial number of polling staff distributed across all 16 districts within the country. Subsequently, payment processes have commenced, facilitated through Rokel Sim Korpor. Polling staff who have undergone verification are advised to keep their mobile phones powered on, as they will receive SMS notifications from Rokel Commercial Bank regarding the availability of their payments.
Upon receiving these SMS notifications, polling staff are encouraged to visit any Rokel Commercial Bank branch within their respective districts or a designated Rokel Sim Korpor cash-out point to collect their payments. During this process, polling staff should ensure they carry the identification card used during the verification procedure.
To accommodate districts lacking immediate access to Rokel Commercial Bank branches, the bank has plans to establish cash-out points. Polling staff will be duly notified once these facilities become operational.
The Sierra Leone Electoral Commission extends its heartfelt gratitude to the polling staff for their patience and unwavering commitment throughout the verification process. Diligent efforts are ongoing to expedite the payment process and ensure it is completed as swiftly as possible.

It’s dated on the 14 September 2023. It’s stale news to some of us. ECSL is a disgrace
After all the Sacrifices we encountered. Over 3 months now we have not yet received our money, we have done the verification process for over 3 weeks now no payments

If i remember how I suffered in this process ECSL and so called UNDP should have stop making this joke

This is a very big disgrace to ECSL for not complying to our demands Shame on you ECSL
ECSL why❓ UNDP, do you want to pay us after one year or you to steal the money?
A good number of us have not received any message but we have completed the verification.
