The U.S. Embassy in Freetown has praised the Government of Sierra Leone and the All People’s Congress (APC) for their ongoing dedication to the Agreement for National Unity.
In a recent statement, the Embassy expressed approval of the progress made, noting that it reflects a shared commitment to national cohesion, democratic governance, and justice.
“We stand in support of efforts that promote peace, stability, and unity,” the statement said, adding that the U.S. looks forward to further progress in strengthening Sierra Leone’s democratic institutions.
I expected the so call US emabassdor to keep his mouth shut, after punishing the people of this country now you’re pretending to care for us, No sir. Just because the government refuse to let them loot our minerals like they want that is the cause of all the suffering Sierra Leoneans are facing today. With their so called MCC money that they failed deliberately to give the government even though we deserve it, they refuse to deliberately so that they can make things harder for the people of this country, but we’re strong we believe in the almighty God one day we’ll be free. I urge the Government to nationalize all mining in the country, PERIOD.
