Sierra Leone Entertainment Industry has extended it thanks and appreciations to the First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Madam Fatima Jabbe Bio for paying the medical bills for singer Vida.

On the press release, the industry stated that the First Lady stepped in to help one of their own when she needed it most. As an industry, it deemed fit to extend it sincere gratitude to the First Lady which led them to release a press release thanking Madam Fatima Maada Bio.

The First Lady came to be aware about the illness of the singer when popular blogger, Sarah Kallay shared it on Facebook. She connected with Sarah Kallay who helped her with the contact details of the family of Vida. Before their encounter with the family of Vida, one operation was done to save her life as she was in a very critical situation. Fatima Bio refunded all the expenses to the family. Since then, she has been paying the medical bills of the singer.

However, the entertainment industry joined the First Lady to rescue the life of the singer. Contributions were made by various celebrities and a fundraising concert is set to place on pray day for the singer.
