The EU Commissioner for International Partnership, Jutta Urpilainen, in her first inspiring meeting with the President of Sierra Leone, Dr Julius Maada Bio, congratulated him for a sustained path to democracy and for abolishing the death penalty law in Sierra Leone. 

Commissioner Urpilainen acknowledges the good job done by president Bio and stated that it sends a strong signal on shared common values.
