World-renowned evangelist, Dag Heward-Mills has officially arrived in Freetown in the morning hours of today, April 29, 2025, to lead the highly anticipated Healing Jesus Campaign Crusade.
The transformative five-day crusade will take place at the Freetown Polytechnic Field in Jui (formerly Freetown Teachers College) from Tuesday, 29th April to Saturday, 3rd May, 2025.
Upon his arrival, the evangelist was warmly welcomed by a delegation of ministers and members of the Body of Christ, who expressed their excitement for the upcoming event.
The capital city is abuzz with anticipation, as thousands of worshippers from across Sierra Leone and beyond are expected to attend the campaign, which aims to deliver messages of hope, healing, and salvation.
The Healing Jesus Campaign is organized in collaboration with the Body of Christ in Sierra Leone, receiving endorsements from prominent spiritual leaders across various denominations, which have increased the expectations for a week filled with miracles, healing, deliverance, and spiritual revival.
Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills, who is also a trained medical doctor, has dedicated over two decades to full-time ministry. He is the founder of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UDOLGC), a network consisting of over 4,000 churches worldwide.
Since launching the Healing Jesus Campaign in 2004, he has preached in 38 countries, leading over 250 campaigns and recording more than 10.5 million decisions for Christ.
In addition to his evangelistic work, Heward-Mills is a prolific author with more than 100 Christian books translated into 58 languages. He actively participates in major international Christian platforms such as the Pentecostal World Fellowship and Church Growth International.
The Healing Jesus Campaign is a non-denominational event, welcoming participants from all backgrounds and faiths, and is focused on fostering spiritual unity within the nation.
