Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Fatima Maada Bio, has publicly distanced herself from the arrest of social media commentator Memphis, stating that she has no connection to the matter and should not be linked to it.
In a statement issued on her social media platform, the First Lady categorically denied any involvement in the arrest, emphasizing that she does not personally know Memphis and has never followed his social media activities.
“I, Fatima Maada Bio, have absolutely nothing to do with the arrest of Memphis. I do not know him personally, and I respectfully request that my name be completely disassociated from this matter,” she stated.
The First Lady further noted that she has no interest in the content Memphis publishes online, stressing that she neither follows nor reads his posts. She described attempts to associate her with the arrest as “false, misleading, and without basis.”
