The First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone Fatima Bio has engaged the Chinese ambassador to Sierra Leone, Wang Qing, and his wife.

The engagement was done at the office of the first lady which involved constructive partnership and strengthening of the working relationship between Sierra Leone and China at different levels.

The First Lady indicated that they have pledged to continue the strong partnership in helping young girls and vulnerable children in the country.

Her statement reads; “It was a great pleasure hosting the Chinese Ambassador and his wife in my office, as we pledge to continue our partnership in helping our young girls and vulnerable children in our society.

Thank you, Ambassador Wang…we at the Office of the First Lady are humbled to be working with you.”
