The First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Madam Fatima Maada jabbie Bio has today disclosed a time well spent with a friend and dear brother, Sierra Leonean Hollywood actor, producer, and musician, Idris Elba.

This event happened a day after the actor graced the Voices of Salone Event, which is pinned at empowering, engaging, and creating platforms for Sierra Leoneans to thrive ranging from education, entertainment, fashion, tourism, entrepreneurship among others.

Taking a close look at the pictures and depicting its meaning, the First Lady was ecstatic of having to spend a wonderful time with one of Hollywood’s prolific actors, Idris Elba. According to the First Lady, she claims it is a brother and dear friend time spent. A Sherbro brother spending time with a sherbro sister and that both parties having Sierra Leone at close hearts.

On her Facebook timeline the First Lady wrote:

“Spent the day with a dear friend and brother Idris Elba. Sierra Leone close to our hearts. Sherbro brother and Sherbro sister. “

Idris Elba is a British citizen of Sierra Leonean and Ghanian parentage. He is mighty proud of the former, his father’s native land and crows about his heritage to anyone listening on either side of the Pond, he has excelled as an actor and is one of the few of our species with a truly global face and presence – a global trend. There is no gainsaying the relevant of naming Elba a tourism Brand Ambassador and presented a diplomatic passport by President Bio during his long overdue first visit to the fatherland with spouse Sabrina Dhowre in December.
