The wife of the President, Fatima Bio has shunned naysayers who have called for the resignation of the President, Maada Bio from office.

The First Lasy responded to the social media trend which was tagged ‘Bio Must Go’ with a question for sponsors and supporters of the trend.

In her words, ‘Na you put am dae’ which means ‘were you the one who gave him the position’ is a sarcastic reply to the trend.

The First Lady said this at a meeting with Sierra Leone’s People Party Women Wing meeting where she addressed the women and brace them for the upcoming presidential elections in June.

Fatima Bio expresses confidence in the leadership of the President while urging women to take up more positions in power.
