The First Lady of Sierra Leone, Fatima Bio met with First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden and Reverend Al Sharpton- Baptist Minister, American Civil Rights and Social Justice Activist,

Sharpton, who is also a politician, radio talk show host, and TV personality, held discussions with the Sierra Leonean First Lady on issues like unity, freedom and justice.

Sharpton was also a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the US Presidential election. 

The Sierra Leonean First Lady is part of the country’s delegation at the UN General Assembly (UNGA) 78. She successfully held several sideline talks bordering on development and girl’s right.
