After heavy gunfire in parts of Freetown on Sunday, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Fatima Wurie visited various markets across the city, including Goodrich Market, Lumley Market, and Bomba Market.”

In her address to traders, she reassured them of the government under the leadership of President maada Bio’s commitment to providing security and safety for all peaceful citizens and their properties across the country.

She continued by calling on those who may have malicious intentions to disrupt the peace and stability of the country to stop and embrace peace and development for the betterment of all.

She further encouraged those who are yet to come out to do their normal business to do so assuring them that the government is taking necessary measures to maintain law and order in the country.
