The Fourah Bay College Lecturer, Abdulsalam Kamara’ s Case have been proven to be a blackmail as the blackmailer identified as Fatmata Miatta Kanneh has confessed and apologized to them.

She issued out a public disclaimer in which she stated that all what was said about the lecturer, Abdulsalam Kamara, the student, Fatmata Madiana Koroma and Mr. Sillah is not true and that she did it out of frustration.

Three months ago, it was made to believe by this blackmailer, that a Student at the Fourah Bay College posted a warning poster with a picture of this lecturer, on one of the notice boards used to hang grades and other important notices, threatening to expose his alleged dubious acts with female students if he continues to date the alleged fiancée, Fatmata Madiana Koroma.

The blackmailer wrote on the poster, “Few years back our current exams officer, Mr Sillah use his influence to take my fellow colleague’s future wife and now the same history wants to repeat itself. This lecturer is currently dating my fiancee whom I have spent all my resources on. Plz Mr Abdul Salam kamara leave Fatmata Madiana Koroma for me she is all I have, if not, all the evidence I have that will implicate you, concerning the students you have slept with to give them free grades, I will present them to the president’s office and the university house, that’s the promise I am making to you and I mean it sir”

After the news had circulated on Social Media, both the accused lecturer and the alleged fiancé went on social media and told their side of the story that it was a blackmail and promised to get justice for the attempt to tarnish their reputations.

They carry on with their threat and reported the issue to the police. Upon thorough investigations, the blackmailer was caught and she confesses to doing everything.

So after all, these people falsely accused, were innocent. This is the extent to which people go nowadays to tarnish the reputation of good people in this country. The matter is presently in court.
