The kidney is a very important part of the human body which has a great role to play in the life of a person. When the kidney is damaged, a part of a person dies and it won’t be long before the person dies completely.
The kidney is responsible for the regulation of fluid in and out of the body. It helps to remove waste products from the body system as well.
However, there are roles which we need to play as humans in order to prevent our kidney from having problems. This role lies in the types of food we should stop eating especially at night.
There are a thousand and one different foods which we consume that have very negative effects on the kidney most especially. The dangerous part of this thing is that, it becomes more harmful when they are eaten at night.
This is because, foods eaten at night do not have anything to contribute to the body, rather they stress the kidney the more. Therefore, below are 4 foods you should stop eating at night to save your kidney from problems:
Fried foods
They include all fries like potato, plantain, yam, chicken, bean cake and others. When foods are fried, they contain trans fat and it happens to be the worst type of fat which can be deposited in the body. Apart from causing kidney disease, the trans fat is capable of affecting the heart and other parts of the body too.
Canned foods
These are another food that you should not eat in the night especially before going to bed. They contain chemicals which are really unhealthy for the kidney.
Junk foods
They include all foods made from flour like burger, meat pie, buns, biscuits, chin chin etc. These foods stress the kidney more than we can imagine especially when they are eaten at night.
Alcohol
Although, this is not food but it must be avoided in the night at all cost. Alcohol causes more harm to the kidney and it is capable of sending someone to an early grave if proper care is not taken.
Having said all these, we should endeavour to eat healthy and stay away from these kinds of foods which do not have any positive impact on our health.
