Initial reports say some people are suspected to be buried under the rubble, blaming the disaster on poor construction work.

Poor consttuction , looking at the site you can’see much iron rods or crinite . The law should take action aagainst the owner and the contractor
Too many substandard structures around the country all due to lack of proper regulatory body. I can’t imagine myself and my family leaving abroad renting one, only to get buried alive because of such negligence. One lucky thing, the nation is sitting on tectonic plate. That would have be catastrophic.
