William Henry Gates popularly known as Bill Gates, an American programmer and entrepreneur who founded Microsoft Corporation, has referred to Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh as a revolutionist and a positive thinker who is trying to positively place Sierra Leone at the international space of development.

Gates, founder of the world’s largest personal computer company, maintained that Sengeh is trying to strengthen the healthcare and education sectors with a very remarkable determination.

His statement reads; “David Moinina Sengeh is revolutionizing Sierra Leone’s healthcare and education sector with his remarkable determination”

The Chief Minister in his statement thanked Gates as well as throwing light on his new role as the Chief Minister of the Republic of Sierra Leone;

Thank you, Bill Gates. As the new Chief Minister for Sierra Leone, my goal is to help President Bio accelerate delivery across Gov’t. In HCD, we reduced maternal mortality by 60% & expanded school access by >50% over last few years. We need all hands on deck to keep progress” he noted.

Sengeh served as Sierra Leone’s Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education in Bio’s first term. He also played a vital role in the establishment of the country’s Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation.
