The Government of Sierra Leone has in a public notice announced that the Feast of Eid-Ul-Fitri, which signifies the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan, will take place on Friday, April 21st, 2023.

As a result, the government has declared Friday, April 21st, 2023, a public holiday across the country.

Eid-Ul-Fitri is a day of celebration for Muslims all around the world. It is a time to thank Allah for his blessings and to celebrate the end of a month of self-reflection and spiritual growth.

The day is typically marked by communal prayers, family gatherings, and feasting.
