The Government of Sierra Leone has described the public disclosure of Cabinet conclusions as a major step toward transparency and open governance.

The update was provided by the Deputy Minister of Information and Civic Education, Bockarie Abdel-Aziz Bawoh, during the Government’s Weekly Press Conference.

Bawoh informed the public about conclusions reached during the Cabinet meeting held on 3 March 2026. He reiterated the Government’s commitment to accountability and transparency in governance.

According to him, making Cabinet conclusions public represents an unprecedented move by the Government to keep citizens informed about key decisions taken at the highest level of government.

The Deputy Minister said the initiative is part of broader efforts by the Government to promote open governance and strengthen public trust in state institutions.
