In a bid to modernize and enhance their operational efficiency, the Head of the Bo West Division Police have revamped their divisional headquarters, focusing on improving the condition of cells and custody areas.

Local Unit Commander Alphonso Abdulai Fambulleh and Assistant Superintendent of Police Almamy Libo Bangura led the initiative, aiming to create a more conducive environment for both officers and detainees.

The renovation, executed on Saturday, 23rd December 2023, underscores the commitment of the division to provide a safer, more professional, and accommodating workspace for its law enforcement personnel. Referred to affectionately as “Correct Man,” Chief Superintendent Fambulleh emphasized the importance of ensuring a secure and comfortable working environment for the officers.

“The welfare of our officers and detainees is paramount,” stated Fambulleh, emphasizing the division’s dedication to community safety and the delivery of effective law enforcement services. The renovation project signifies their steadfast commitment to upholding professional standards within the community.

Assistant Superintendent Almamy Libo Bangura, also known as the Divisional Support Officer, praised the community for their support of community policing initiatives. He involved police personnel in the renovation work, acknowledging their efforts despite the physical demands, describing their involvement as crucial in fostering a stronger relationship between law enforcement and the community.
