Sierra Leone’s Health Minister, Austin Demy, recently held meaningful discussions concerning President Bio’s agenda to advance cancer and other health-related treatments within the nation.

During the discussions, Minister Demy emphasized the productive nature of the meeting held with the representative of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Garaldine Arias De Goebl.

These talks took place on the sidelines of the 73rd regional committee for Africa, where the primary focus was centered around devising strategies to propel President Bio’s Salone agenda, particularly pertaining to the progress of cancer care, screening, diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment methodologies.

The international atomic energy agency (IDEA) is the world’s centre for cooperation in the nuclear field, promoting the safe, secure and peaceful use of nuclear technology.
