His Excellency Dr. Morie Manyeh, Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, today welcomed prominent legal professionals Sulaiman Banja Tejan-Sie, Esq. and Victor I. Lansana, Esq. at the Sierra Leone High Commission in London. The visit, which is part of a study tour, aims to forge a robust collaboration between the General Legal Council of Sierra Leone and leading legal institutions in the U.K.

Mr. Tejan-Sie and Mr. Lansana, who serve as Chairman and Secretary General of the General Legal Council respectively, are focused on enhancing the Council’s effectiveness through strategic partnerships. Their visit is intended to strengthen ties and facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge between the legal bodies of both countries.

In his welcome address, High Commissioner Manyeh stressed the importance of building strong legal frameworks as a foundation for Sierra Leone’s socio-economic development. He commended the delegates for their initiative and assured them of the High Commission’s full support in their efforts to advance the goals of the General Legal Council.

The visit marks a significant step in the Council’s mission to elevate Sierra Leone’s legal standards through international cooperation.
