The United States Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Bryan Hunt, has extended a message of solidarity to all justices and magistrates in the country, commending them for their unwavering commitment to upholding the principles of human rights and social justice.

Ambassador Hunt specifically highlighted the justices’ and magistrates’ prioritization of participation in a two-day meeting focused on HIV/AIDS, human rights, and social justice.

In his message, Ambassador Hunt stressed the importance of treating all individuals with dignity and respect, emphasizing the need to dismantle the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. He commended the justices and magistrates for their dedication to ensuring that the rights of all Sierra Leoneans are protected, including those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

He reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to collaborating with the Sierra Leonean government and civil society to achieve the common goal of ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
