As the June 2023 elections draw closer, former Housemate Salone season 3 contestant and musician, Abdul Alhadi commonly called Double A has officially declared his support for the main opposition, the All People’s Congress (APC) party.

His declaration came following rumors circulating that he had joined the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), despite his father being an APC member of Parliament for Constituency 123.

He officially declared his support on Monday 20th February 2023 as thousands of APC supporters were welcoming the party’s newly elected flagbearer to Freetown from their National Delegates Conference (NDC) in Makeni.

He said that he is not afraid of belonging to a political party as it is part of his citizenship rights.
