The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement has reported the arrest of Mohamed Sesay, an illegal immigrant from Sierra Leone, who has been convicted of second-degree rape and second-degree sex offenses in Maryland.
The ICE report identifies Mohamed Sesay as a 32-year-old Guatemalan criminal. He was apprehended by ICE Baltimore on July 29, 2025.
Mohamed Sesay, originally from Sierra Leone, was arrested during a raid on July 26, 2025, where multiple convicted criminals were taken into custody.

The report states that Mohamed was convicted a decade ago in Maryland for the repeated rape of an 11-year-old girl during a five-month period in 2014, during which he threatened to kill her if she disclosed the abuse.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the victim’s father learned of the incident after an assault during a family function, leading to the admission of Mohamed Sesay’s actions.
Sesay is expected to be deported to Sierra Leone as part of the U.S. government’s crackdown on illegal immigration.
