Board of Imams Updates Sierra Leonean Muslims on Preparations For EID UL Fitri Prayers at The National Stadium

The Executive and  Board of imams of the Western  Muslim Community [WMC] has issued a press release informing all Muslims and the general  that  the EID UL Fitri Prayers [ PRAY DAY] 2022 WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE NATIONAL STADIUM.

The release further revealed tha because of the extensive  reconstruction  work within the main Bowl, the prayers will be held at the Perimeter Area of the stadium starting from the  Runaway at the Perimeter Area of the stadium starting from the Runaway at the syke  Street Entrance.

In that regard, No Vehicle would be allowed  into the National Stadium premises on the day for the prayers.

Limited Parking arrangement would be allowed into the Nation Stadium premises on the day for the prayer .

The prayer would be  led by Alhaji Sheikh Lamin Conteh the chief Imam of Masjid  Fath, Philip Street, Congo Market.

All Worshipers are encouraged to to be seated at the National Stadium at 9;00 am.

The WMc wishes to thank the government  and the National Stadium Project Management for allowing the Muslims  public to use  the convenience of the  stadium perimeter to observe the EId UL FITRI Prayers
