The Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion (ICPNC), in collaboration with the Commonwealth and ECOWAS, has conducted productive dialogues involving key stakeholders.
These crucial dialogues included discussions with the All People’s Congress Party delegation, led by Party Leader Dr. Samura Kamara, and the Government delegation, headed by Chief Minister Honourable Dr. David Sengeh. The team engaged with several prominent figures, including the Honourable Vice President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohammed Juldeh Jalloh, Former President His Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma, representatives from the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone, and Mr. Abdulai Caulker, National Security Coordinator at the Office of National Security.
Additionally, the team paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Rid. Brigadier Dr. Julius Maada Bio, the President of Sierra Leone.
These initial interactions mark the beginning of a broader framework for mediated dialogue between the government and the All People’s Congress Party, addressing the emerging issues stemming from the June 2023 general elections.
The ICPNC team commends the demonstrated willingness of all parties to seek consensus and promote dialogue. They urge these parties to continue on this path, working towards the shared goal of securing a just, peaceful, and cohesive Sierra Leone.
How do the talks between ICPNC, ECOWAS, Commonwealth, APC, and the Government Delegation impact the political situation in the region?
This is actually aimless and rubbish statement,I was expecting the goal of the meeting….Is this fruitful discussion???
All we need is peace that’s all, even now when the two parties are not together who is feeling the weight? We The masses, when things are flying up like a bird who cares ? Only we the poor people, so we need no more distraction from anyone else again, now let’s come together and develop this nation, the reaches please stop suffering we the people we are back to our five senses.

I think Sierraloaded and the so call ICPNC Peace Commission are misleading the public about the just concluded fact findings done by Commonwealth A.U and ECOWAS .
The above mentioned bodies were visited Sierra Leone on fact findings in relation to June 24th 2023 elections. They meet with the APC Leadership separately as well as the illigetimate government. There was nothing like Dialogue between APC Party and the illigetimate government during the visit of commonwealth. We are expecting Dialogue next month (October) . SLPP stop fooling your supporters.
Sierraloaded has in many occasions misleading the people of Sierra Leone. The lack of impatience demonstrated by their field journalists to ascertain issues is a recipe for adding more injury to the already big wounds.
Credibility in journalism is key and it must not be compromised in any way.
