Manish a twenty-eight-year-old Indian national and former employee of J. Matter Company, on Wednesday 19th June, 2024, committed suicide.

According to the report, Manish who had been in Sierra Leone for six years decided to go to his home country, India on his vacation leave to spend time with his family.

Upon his arrival in his country, Manish met his wife pregnant for another man, which placed him in a depressing condition.

One week before his expected date to return to Sierra Leone, Manish reportedly killed himself after numerous advice to forget about the lady and find someone else to marry.

Two days after Manish committed suicide, his wife also committed suicide on Friday 21st June 2024.

The report stated that Manish wife committed suicide because of shame and regret.

It was also reported that a former shop boy of another India Company, Petit also killed himself after hearing that a former girlfriend who left him without giving any excuse was going out with an Indian visitor who has enriched her.

His remains have been buried at the Murray Town cemetery. Meanwhile, the bodies of Manish and his wife would be cremated this week according to Indian tradition and religion.
