Sierra Leone’s Deputy Minister of Information and Civic Education Bockarie Aziz Bawoh has responded to the All People’s Congress (APC) press release with regard President Julius Maada Bio Speech during the coronation of 12 Paramount Chiefs in Bo District.
Bawoh addressed the issue during the Ministry’s weekly press conference held to inform the public and address issues if public interest.
Bawoh refuted claims by the APC which he said misrepresent President Bio Speech in Bo District.
He emphasize that President Bio made it clear that he is in power presently through democratic elections and will step down at the end of his term in 2028.
He said President Bio only warned against using violence to destabilize the peace of the nation, clearly stated that any aggression from individuals would be met with equal force.
