The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has engaged the secretariat of the Mano River Union through the secretary general, Maria G. Harrison on stabilizing the movement within the countries.

The discussion was centred around the counter-trafficking and cross border initiatives to support the countries in the Mano River Union Region, ranging from Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Ivory Coast respectively.

The IOM believed that, migrant women and girls face incredible challenges and ensured that have equal access to technology.

‘’Let’s close the gender divide and make digital inclusion a reality for all,’’ they stated.
