Sierra Leone’s Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has on the 20th December 2023 led a Delegation to neighbouring Guinea following the fire outbreak that led to loss of lives and injury.

The delegation to Guinea is of a plan to show support and unity after a devastating fire at Guinea’s main oil depot. The fire resulted in the death of 18 people, injuries to 212 others, and raised concerns about fuel supplies.

The delegation was warmly received by Dr.Bernard Goumou, the Prime Minister of Guinea, and the meeting aimed to express President Julius Maada Bio’s solidarity and the brotherhood of the Sierra Leonean people following the tragic incident.
