Residents of both Kabala-Yogomaia townships have expressed great satisfaction at the conclusion of the project dubbed “operation clean Kabala”, that was organized by the Chairman, Koinadugu District Council, Lawrence Teteh Kargbo, Saturday, December 18, 2021.

According to reports from residents in many locations, every street corner was thoroughly cleared of all trash through enthusiastic community engagement.

According to the Chairman, this is the first leg of the “operation clean Kabala” and the second one is scheduled to take place few day before the popular New Year’s Celebration on January 1, 2022. He assured that; such cleaning exercises will continue unabated to make Kabala the cleanest city in the country.

Northern Star reports that, he thanked all development partners, councillors, residents from both Kabala-Yogomaia townships and most especially KPAC for their unflinching support to the successful completion of the cleaning exercise.

In conclusion, he appealed to development partners to continue giving support for the second leg of “operation clean Kabala” which will take place before New Year.
