Leader and Presidential candidate for the just concluded June elections of the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party, Samura Kamara and others are set to make another appearance in court tomorrow Friday 14th July 2023 at the High Court of Sierra Leone.

Kamara is standing trial on corruption allegations of misappropriation of public funds.

It was alleged by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) that Kamara misled the principal and misappropriated public funds meant for the renovation of Sierra Leone’s Chancery Building in New York when he was Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs in the previous APC administration years ago.

The Former Foreign Affairs Minister is also being accused of misleading the principal.

Kamara has many times denied the allegations claiming that the case was politically motivated to smear the good image and reputation he has nurtured over the years.
